I always had a thing for these sorts of covers:  Taking a complicated electronic concoction and breaking it down to the acoustic and vocals.  Jose Gonzalez’s cover of “Heartbeats” by The Knife is another example.  Oh and that second video link is just the song played over a video that is crazy in it’s own right.
